Saxófónleikarinn Jóel Pálsson er íslenskum djassunnendum vel kunnur, en hann hefur gefið út plötur á borð við Varp, Septett og nú síðast “Innri”, sem innihélt lög eftir Jóel flutt af Stórsveit Reykjavíkur. Plötunum hefur verið vel tekið og hafa unnið til margskonar verðlauna. Ásamt Jóel kemur fram Hljómsveit Bryggjunnar, Hjörtur Ingvi Jóhannsson á píanó, Magnús Trygvason Eliassen trommur og Andri Ólafsson á bassa. Á boðstólnum verða uppáhalds lög Jóels, úr ýmsum áttum.

On the 8th of October the critically acclaimed saxophone player Joel Palsson will play some of his favorite songs. His albums Varp, Septett and Innri are well known in the icelandic jazz scene and have received many awards. Bryggjan Band will perform with Jóel, Hjörtur Ingvi Jóhannsson on piano, Magnús Trygvason Eíasen on drums and Andri Ólafsson on bass.
Hungry concertgoers can have a taste of the delicious bar menu, as well as sampling some of the most exciting microbrews in the country. All in all, this event must count as an opportunity to sit down and enjoy some jazz after the weekend.
