Next wednesday we will have a release party for two new e.p´s, unravel e.p by einarIndra and the Stranded e.p by Ceasetone.

Tonik Ensemble:
Tonik Ensemble is the musical output of Icelander Anton Kaldal Ágústsson exploring the vast expanse of the electronic spectrum the soundscape with a strong signature sound of contrasts: rich and stripped bare, minimalist but intricate, finely crafted and yet very instinctive. Together with an ever-evolving cast of talented collaborators, the output is a deep, atmospheric pseudo-techno. Tonik Ensemble’s debut Snapshots met with critical acclaim, earning a Kraumur Music Fund award and Album of the year titles from Straumur and The Reykjavik Grapevine.

Ceasetone
Að baki CeaseTone stendur tónlistarmaðurinn Hafsteinn Þráinsson en hefur síðan stækkað og breyst þar sem hann fær til liðs við sig fleiri tónlistarmenn úr ýmsum áttum. Fyrsta plata Ceasetone, “Two Strangers” , sem kom út árið 2016, hlaut frábærar viðtökur, þar á meðal tilnefningu til Íslensku tónlistarverðlaunanna hið sama ár. Hér renna saman í mögnuðum hljóðheimi kröftugt indí-rokk, taktföst raftónlist og klassískir undirtónar. Á nýrri smáskífu gegna strengir veigamiklu hlutverki auk hins elektróníska hljóðheims
