Kvintett Hauks Gröndals mun leika valinkunn lög frá gullaldarárum djassins, þegar sveiflan var í hávegum höfð. Haukur sækir í smiðju meistara eins og Lester Young og óhætt er að lofa melódískri og angurværri kvöldstund. Kvintettinn skipa: Haukur Gröndal-Tenór saxófónn, Þorgrímur Jónsson-bassi, Ásgeir Ásgeirsson-gítar, Erik Quick: trommur og Hjörtur Ingvi Jóhannsson-píanó.

Sunday night jazz at Bryggjan Brugghús next sunday. Haukur Gröndal Quintet will be playing golden years jazz from the old masters at Bryggjan Brugghús. The group players are Haukur Gröndal tenor sax, Þorgrímur Jónsson bass, Ásgeir Ásgeirsson guitar, Erik Quick drums and Hjörtur Ingvi Jóhannsson on piano.

The music starts at 20.00 and hungry concertgoers can have a taste of the delicious bar menu, as well as sampling some of the most exciting microbrews in the country. All in all, this event must count as an opportunity to sit down and enjoy some jazz after the weekend.
