Sunnudjass – Sölvi Kolbeinsson og band

Sölvi Kolbeinsson, fæddur 1996, útskrifaðist úr Tónlistarskóla FÍH árið 2015 og stundar nú nám við Jazz-Institut Berlin. Áhugi hans á tónlist kviknaði snemma og hann hóf saxófónnám átta ára gamall. Sölvi hefur komið fram á Jazzhátíð Reykjavíkur, Oslo Jazzfestival og Tampere Jazz Happening svo að eitthvað sé nefnt. Sölvi stundaði einnig klassískt saxófónnám og hefur tvisvar komið fram sem einleikari með Sinfóníuhljómsveit Íslands.

Sunday night jazz at Bryggjan Brugghús, Sölvi Kolbeinsson will play his saxaphone with band but he is currently studying at Jazz-Institut Berlin. Sölvi has performed live at Reykjavík Jazz Festival, Oslo jazzfestival and Tampere jazz Happening and will be performing here with Bryggjan All Star Jazz Band.

The music starts at 20.00 and hungry concertgoers can have a taste of the delicious bar menu, as well as sampling some of the most exciting microbrews in the country. All in all, this event must count as an opportunity to sit down and enjoy some jazz after the weekend.
