Info:

Indriði:

Indriði was born in Reykjavík, but has spent time living in New York City, Mexico and Berlin. He finds outlets for his creativity wherever he goes—whether as a member of hardcore band Muck (RIP), or through his solo work, where his musical curiosity meets his inner life.

Indridi’s first solo album Makril reflects his ideas of self-exploration and leaving the insular society of Iceland, themes which are expressed through the album’s beautifully sparse soundscapes, melodic guitar motifs, and vocals that are weighed down with both emotion and experience. Since it’s release, Indridi has toured Ireland and USA, followed by a move to Berlin to work with composer Jóhann Jóhannson.

Indriði’s next solo album is approaching completion, under the working title of ‘Ding Ding.’ “It’s mostly in English this time,” he explains. “I recorded some of it with Albert [Finnbogason] at Greenhouse Studios, and some with Farao in Berlin. It’s more electronic and emo; sludgy, and darker.”

Teitur Magnússon:

Teitur Magnússon is well-known to the Icelandic crowd since his first album under his own name, 27, received glorious reviews from both listeners and reviewers, released 2014. The album was nominated for both the Icelandic and Nordic Music Prize. Teitur has before received fame for his reggae band Ojba Rasta, and he has a new solo album on the way this winter.
